BEAR’S HISTORY:

The club was originally founded in 1987 as the Tucabia Bears Football Club.
It rebranded to Yuraygir United Football Club in early 2016 to better represent the broader coastal communities it serves, including Ulmarra, Wooli and Minnie Water.

BEAR’S TEAMS + DIVISIONS:

YUFC fields a range of teams for both juniors and seniors

  • Juniors: Includes MiniRoos (U6–U11) and competitive junior grades up to Under-14s

  • 15/16 Girls: Aiming for future teams, reach out to find out more

  • Seniors: Previously fielded teams in the Men's 2nd and 3rd divisions

  • Women's Football: The club made history in 2025 by launching its first-ever women's team, which successfully competed in the local 2nd-grade competition
